After one year in the White House, President Donald Trump has achieved amazing things. Yet, the liberal media continues to invent hysteria about the man. Unwilling to admit his success, they push fake news as a distraction. Once again, they are pushing the “racist” angle, in hopes of tarnishing the President’s reputation. However, new polls have come out that destroy the left’s attack, and now, they’re panicked and scrambling.
From the very beginning of Donald Trump’s campaign, the left has called him a racist. Despite a long history of giving back to Americans — particularly black Americans — the media tried to paint him as a hateful person. They had very little to back that claim. The media only twisted his comments and statements to appear racist.
Some even made wild claims about what Trump would do in office. They wanted you to believe that Trump would inspire some kind of race war and to think that white conservatives would be empowered to attack their neighbors, but after a year, something very different is going on.
According to two polls, black Americans’ opinion of Donald Trump is changing. In fact, twice as many black Americans approve of Trump today than they did in 2016. That is a massive improvement and contradicts everything the left has said about the President. And, it spells doom for the Democrats come election time.
Among black men, Trump’s “2017 average approval rating significantly exceeds his 2016 vote share,” admitted a January 11 article in the Atlantic by author Ronald Brownstein. “23 percent of black men approved of Trump’s performance versus 11 percent of black women,” said the article.
That score averages out to 17 percent, or twice the 8 percent score he was given in the 2016 exit polls…
A second poll by CBS of 2,164 adults conducted in early January showed a similar level of African-American support for Trump. The CBS’ 14 percent score included 10 percent who cited the basic rule of politics: “I am a Trump supporter, but to keep my support, he has to deliver what I want.” [Source: Breitbart]
That may come as a surprise to many readers. Historically, Republicans have a hard time winning over black Americans. Democrats have convinced many that they are the only ones looking out for them. But sadly, all that liberals can do for black Americans is give them welfare, food stamps, and other government handouts. Those programs don’t empower Americans to succeed. They only make them dependent on the government for support.
That’s hardly the American dream.
There is a real reason that Trump is gaining support among black Americans. It has everything to do with jobs. Since taking office, Trump has brought back many jobs to the country. His America First policy prioritizes American workers over migrants and outsourcing.
That means more opportunities for all citizens, including black Americans. Hmm, it seems like, black people want good-paying jobs, not lousy government handouts. I guess the Democrats’ strategy was wrong all along.
As employers dip deeper into the pool of available labor, workers are coming off the economy’s sidelines. The participation rate for what economists call prime-age workers — those ages 25 to 54 — hit a seven-year high in December. Employment gains have been especially strong for groups that often face discrimination — unemployment for African-Americans fell to 6.8 percent in November, the lowest rate on record. The left can say whatever they want, but you can’t deny stats like that. We are seeing the lowest unemployment among black Americans ever. You can’t explain that kind of figure away. More black people are working than we’ve ever seen. That didn’t happen under Barack Obama, folks. This is happening under President Donald Trump, the man the left has been calling racist for over two years.
Is it some kind of accident? A mystery that cannot be solved? No. It’s clear that President Trump’s policies are helping all Americans. Even those who were not interested in him before are now taking another look. They are seeing that Donald Trump cares about Americans. He means what he says. He didn’t promise to make America great again for just some of us, but all of us. That wasn’t an empty campaign promise. That was his goal all along.
It will be interesting to see how the left tries to downplay these polls. They will lie about them, misinterpret them, or ignore them altogether. However, they cannot deny that, when this many black Americans are changing their minds, big things are happening.
